I was born in 2001 in Maribor and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana. In 2025 I completed my bachelor’s degree in Multimedia at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. Photography has been part of my life since childhood, but I became more serious about it during high school, where I regularly documented school events. In 2018, I founded a photography club and spent two years teaching the basics of photography, both theory and practice, to more than thirty students. My main focus back then was portrait photography, though I also explored concert, theatre, travel, film, and street photography. The pandemic and the start of my university studies brought a period of creative block, which I eventually overcame in 2022 through a renewed interest in film photography. Since then I have worked almost exclusively with analogue techniques. I appreciate the discipline of a limited number of frames—it pushes me to think more carefully about composition and content, sharpening my attention to the decisive moment and leaving me with a higher share of images I am satisfied with. Over time my subject matter has also shifted; these days I photograph mostly for myself.

In 2015 I won the main prize in the National Geographic Junior competition and represented Slovenia abroad. In 2018 I was part of the Slovenian youth delegation at the 39th FIAP World Youth Biennale in Bulgaria. I received honorable mentions at the International Photography Awards (IPA) in 2019 (artistic photography) and 2020 (children’s photography). In February 2020 I held my first solo exhibition, Prepletanja, at the Photographic Museum Maribor, exploring the relationship between people and space. Most recently, in September 2023, I published a zine titled Iskanja, now part of the Dobra Vaga Gallery collection.
